Agreementsoftware

Contract management solutions for every team that signs agreements

Every department in a growing company signs agreements, but each one worries about something different. Finance wants to know what renews next month. Sales wants a signed order form before the quarter closes. The one lawyer in the building wants a clean repository and a trail of who approved what. Agreementsoftware gives all of them one repository, one set of templates, one approval flow and one renewal calendar, and each team sees the part it needs. This page walks through how the main teams use it and links to a detailed page for each.

Pick the use case closest to your work

The product is the same for everyone. What changes is which contracts come first, which fields matter most and who gets the alerts. Start with the team that feels the pain today, then invite the others when the repository is already useful.

Shared foundation

What every team gets on day one

Whichever team starts, the same core is switched on for the whole company. Nobody buys a separate tool per department, and every contract lands in one place with the same fields.

  • A central repository for PDF and DOCX files with folders, tags, counterparties, owners, full-text search and version history.
  • AI extraction that reads each agreement and fills in parties, effective date, term, auto-renewal, notice period, termination, payment terms, liability cap and governing law, with the source sentence shown next to every field.
  • Renewal alerts that compute the notice deadline from the term and the notice period and email the owner at 90, 60, 30 and 7 days.
  • Templates with variables, so a first draft comes from a short form instead of last year's Word file.
  • E-signature with signing order and reminders, and the signed PDF with its audit certificate filed back in the repository automatically.
  • A dashboard of upcoming renewals, contract value, owners and agreements expiring this quarter.

The details of each building block are on the contract management platform features page, and the three step setup is on how the CLM system works.

HR agreements

HR: employment, contractor and NDA templates with signature tracking

HR teams send more agreements than almost anyone in the company, and most of them are nearly identical. An offer letter, an employment agreement, a contractor agreement and an NDA differ in a name, a start date, a salary or a rate, and a handful of clauses. Agreementsoftware turns those documents into templates, sends them for signature and keeps the signed copy with the person's other agreements.

  • Templates with variables for name, role, start date, compensation, notice period and manager, filled in from a short form.
  • Clause library for the parts that change by role or location, such as confidentiality, IP assignment or non-solicitation wording your counsel has approved.
  • Signature tracking: see who has opened, signed or not yet signed, with automatic reminders so HR stops chasing by email.
  • Signing order, so the candidate signs first and the company signatory countersigns after.
  • Signed PDFs filed automatically in an HR folder with permissions, so only the people who should see compensation terms can open them (roles and permissions per folder on Plus and above).

Contractor agreements with end dates that matter

Contractor and consultant agreements have a term, a notice period and often a renewal. The same extraction and alerts that finance uses for vendors tell HR when a contractor agreement is about to end, so an extension is a decision rather than an accident. Custom obligation reminders cover the rest: a probation review date, an equipment return, a visa or certification renewal.

NDAs you can actually find

NDAs are signed fast and forgotten faster. With every NDA in the repository and the counterparty, effective date and term extracted, anyone with access can answer "do we have an NDA with this company, and is it still in force" in a search rather than an afternoon in a shared drive.

One system across departments

Why one system beats a tool per team

When sales uses one tool, HR another and finance keeps a spreadsheet, nobody can answer simple company questions: how many agreements auto-renew this quarter, what we owe each vendor in total, which contracts cap our liability. With one repository and one set of extracted fields, those questions become a filter.

  • Permissions per folder keep HR files private while the vendor register stays open to finance (Plus and above).
  • Approval rules by contract type and value mean a sales discount goes to the sales lead while a large vendor contract goes to the CFO.
  • One audit trail across all departments shows who approved, sent and signed each agreement.
  • CSV export of the whole register on every plan, so finance can reconcile contract value with the books.

Which plan fits which team

  • Starter, $49 per month or $288 per year: 3 seats, 500 stored contracts, AI extraction for 50 documents per month, renewal alerts on every contract, 10 templates and 25 envelopes per month. Good for one team replacing a spreadsheet.
  • Plus, $149 per month or $888 per year: 10 seats, 2 500 contracts, 300 AI extractions per month, approval workflows, obligation tracking, unlimited templates with clause library, 150 envelopes and per-folder permissions. The usual choice when two or three departments share the system.
  • Pro, $499 per month or $2,988 per year: 40 seats, unlimited contracts, 1 500 AI extractions, multi-step and parallel approvals, bulk send, Salesforce, HubSpot, Google Drive, OneDrive and Slack integrations, REST API, webhooks and reporting.
  • Enterprise: SSO, SCIM, unlimited seats, custom retention, uptime SLA and archive migration. Talk to sales.

Extra seats on Starter, Plus and Pro cost $15 per seat per month. There is no free plan; the Contract snapshot demo on the homepage is free to try once. Full detail is on the contract management system cost page.

Can different teams keep their contracts private from each other?

Yes. On Plus and above, roles and permissions are set per folder, so HR agreements, board documents and vendor contracts can sit in the same repository with different access.

Do we need to buy a separate plan for each department?

No. One workspace covers the whole company. Seats are shared across teams, and extra seats cost $15 per seat per month if you need more than your plan includes.

Can HR send offer letters and NDAs for signature from the same system?

Yes. Build them as templates with variables, send them for e-signature with signing order and reminders, and the signed PDF files itself back in the repository.

Which team should start first?

Usually the team with the most renewals to lose. For most companies that is finance or operations with vendor and SaaS contracts, then sales and HR join once the repository is in use.

Put every team's agreements in one place

Upload your contracts, check the extracted dates and turn on renewal alerts. Then invite the next team.
