PandaDoc pricing plans at a glance
These are the numbers buyers can check, as of October 2026. Plan prices come from PandaDoc's public price list as reported by recent independent reviews, the free plan limits from PandaDoc's own help center, and contract values from Vendr.

PandaDoc cost by team size
Because every plan is priced per seat, the bill grows in a straight line with headcount. The last column is what the same team pays for contract management on published plans.
| Team | PandaDoc Starter, yearly | PandaDoc Business, yearly | AgreementSoftware, billed yearly |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3 users | $684 | $1,764 | $288 on Starter (3 seats) |
| 5 users | $1,140 | $2,940 | $888 on Plus (10 seats) |
| 10 users | $2,280 | $5,880 | $888 on Plus (10 seats) |
| 25 users | $5,700 | $14,700 | $2,988 on Pro (40 seats) |
| 25 users on monthly billing | $10,500 | $19,500 | $5,988 on Pro monthly ($499 a month) |
A worked example: a 60 person agency has 8 account managers who send proposals and 2 operations people who own vendor contracts. On PandaDoc Business that is 10 seats at $49, or $5,880 a year, and the CRM integration and content library are the reason to buy it. If the agency mainly needs signed contracts tracked, it would not need 10 Business seats. Three people on a contract tool, plus PandaDoc only for the proposal writers, usually costs less than putting everyone on Business.
What makes a PandaDoc bill bigger than the list price
- Seat count. Every person who creates or sends documents needs a paid seat. Recipients and signers do not.
- Monthly billing. Starter costs 84% more month to month ($35 against $19), and Business about 33% more ($65 against $49).
- The jump to Business. CRM integrations, approval workflows, unlimited templates and the content library start at Business. Most sales teams end up there, so treat $49 as the real entry price.
- Enterprise features. SSO, custom roles, CPQ, notarization and full API access sit in Enterprise, which is quoted. Vendr's range of up to $37,580 a year mostly reflects these deals.
- API volume. Embedding PandaDoc in your own product is priced by documents, not seats. Ask for the per-document rate above your allowance in writing.
- Payments. PandaDoc can collect payment inside a document. Check the processor fees on top of the subscription.
If your proposals are really pitch decks built from long reports, a tool that turns Word documents and PDFs into presentations may cover that part of the job without extra seats.
How to negotiate a PandaDoc quote
Vendr reports average savings of about 26% on PandaDoc deals. These are the levers buyers use most.
- Commit to yearly billing. It is the single biggest saving on Starter and Business.
- Ask for volume pricing once you pass 10 to 20 seats, and again at 50.
- Price the seats you add mid-term up front, since added seats are often billed at list.
- Ask for a cap of 3% to 5% on the renewal increase, written into the order form.
- Get a competing quote. Vendr notes that buyers who also evaluate other e-signature tools get extra concessions.
- Time the signature for the end of a quarter, when sales teams have more room on price.

When PandaDoc is the right choice
PandaDoc earns its price on the sales side. If your team builds proposals with pricing tables, pulls deal data from a CRM, wants to see when a prospect opened the quote, and collects a payment at signature, it does that well and the Business plan is fair value.
It is weaker after the signature. PandaDoc stores the signed file, but tracking every vendor, customer and employment contract, reading the renewal and notice dates, and alerting a named owner before the deadline is a contract management job. For that, contract tracking software and contract reminder software cover the risk that costs real money, the auto-renewal nobody caught. Many teams keep PandaDoc for proposals and put contracts on a dedicated system.
How much does PandaDoc cost per month?
PandaDoc costs $19 per user a month on Starter and $49 per user a month on Business when billed yearly, or $35 and $65 per user billed monthly. Enterprise is priced by quote. A free eSign plan allows 5 document sends a month with 2 recipients each.
Is PandaDoc free?
PandaDoc has a free eSign plan, but it is limited. New free accounts can send 5 documents a month with up to 2 recipients each and keep up to 5 templates, according to PandaDoc's help center. Most teams that send contracts or proposals every week need a paid plan.
Does PandaDoc charge per user?
Yes. Starter, Business and Enterprise are all priced per seat, so a 10 person team on Business pays $5,880 a year on yearly billing. Signers and recipients do not need a seat. The API Developer plan is the exception and is priced by documents.
Does PandaDoc have a free trial?
Yes. PandaDoc offers a 14-day trial, and its help center says trial accounts can send up to 5 documents. After the trial, the account moves to the free plan limits unless you pick a paid plan.
What is a cheaper alternative to PandaDoc for contracts?
For contract management rather than proposals, AgreementSoftware costs $49 a month for 3 users, or $288 a year, with AI extraction, renewal alerts, templates and e-signature included. For signatures only, Docusign eSignature starts at $11 a month for one user.
