Zoho Contracts pricing plans at a glance
These prices come from Zoho's own US price list, checked in October 2026. Volume discounts are available by quote.
| Plan | Billed yearly | Billed monthly | Lite user, yearly | Main limits and features |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | Not offered | 3 users, 10 contracts, 5 counterparties, 1 approval workflow, 2 built-in templates |
| Standard | $25 per user a month | $30 per user a month | $5 per user a month | 25 contracts per user a month, 500 counterparties, authoring, approvals, redlining, e-signature, clause library, 35+ reports |
| Professional | $40 per user a month | $48 per user a month | $10 per user a month | Unlimited contracts and counterparties, adds obligations management, Zoho CRM and Docusign integration, audit logs, intake forms |
| Premium | $50 per user a month | $60 per user a month | $15 per user a month | Everything in Professional, adds in-person signing and the ChatGPT integration |
Zoho's page advertises 20% off for yearly billing. On these list prices the yearly rate is about 17% below the monthly one ($25 against $30). A Lite user license needs at least one full user on the account. Zoho One subscribers get Contracts Premium as part of that bundle.
Zoho Contracts cost by team size
Every full user is a paid seat, so the bill grows in a straight line with headcount. The last column is what the same team pays for contract management on published plans that include a block of seats.
| Team | Standard, yearly | Professional, yearly | Premium, yearly | AgreementSoftware, billed yearly |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 3 users | $900 | $1,440 | $1,800 | $288 on Starter (3 seats) |
| 5 users | $1,500 | $2,400 | $3,000 | $888 on Plus (10 seats) |
| 10 users | $3,000 | $4,800 | $6,000 | $888 on Plus (10 seats) |
| 25 users | $7,500 | $12,000 | $15,000 | $2,988 on Pro (40 seats) |
| 10 users on monthly billing | $3,600 | $5,760 | $7,200 | $1,788 on Plus monthly ($149 a month) |
A worked example: a 120 person company has 4 people who draft and manage contracts and 10 managers who only approve. On Professional that is 4 full users at $480 a year plus 10 Lite users at $120 a year, or $3,120. The Lite license is a fair way to keep approvers cheap. On AgreementSoftware the same 14 people fit on Plus with 4 extra seats at $15 a month, $1,608 a year, with approvals, obligation tracking and the audit log included.
What makes a Zoho Contracts bill bigger than the list price
- The plan you actually need. Obligations management, audit logs, intake forms and the Zoho CRM integration start at Professional, so most teams that track obligations or answer to an auditor should budget $40, not $25.
- The Standard contract cap. Standard allows 25 contracts per user a month. A busy sales or procurement team can hit that, which pushes it to Professional.
- Full users against Lite users. Anyone who drafts, negotiates or manages contracts needs a full license. Price the split carefully before you sign.
- Monthly billing. It costs about 20% more than yearly on every plan.
- E-signature volume. Zoho Sign comes with the plan, but its limits follow the matching Zoho Sign edition. Check the envelope allowance against the number of contracts you send.
- Implementation. Zoho has no published setup fee, but importing a backlog of signed contracts and setting up contract types, templates and workflows takes staff time or a Zoho partner.
If many of the contracts you load are vendor agreements and you also want the invoices checked against them, an AI invoice data extraction tool can pull invoice totals and line items into a spreadsheet for that comparison.
Is the Zoho Contracts free plan enough for a business?
For most companies, no. The free plan allows 10 contracts, 5 counterparties and one approval workflow for up to 3 users. That is enough to test drafting and approvals, but a business with even one year of vendor and customer agreements has more than 10 contracts. When the 15-day trial ends, the account drops to these free limits unless you pick a paid plan, so plan the import for after you have chosen.
When Zoho Contracts is the right choice
Zoho Contracts is a strong pick if you already run Zoho CRM, Zoho Books or Zoho One. Contract records connect to CRM deals, Zoho Sign is built in, and on Zoho One the Premium plan costs nothing extra. It is also good at drafting: templates, a clause library, redlining with counterparties and letters for renewals and amendments generated from templates. Its interface supports ten languages, which helps teams with offices abroad.
It fits less well when the job is mostly after the signature. If your contracts arrive as signed PDFs from vendors and customers, the work is reading each one, extracting the term, renewal type and notice period, and alerting a named owner before the deadline. That is what contract tracking software is built for, and for teams that answer to auditors our contract compliance software page shows how obligations, approvals and the audit log fit together.
